This policy explains what personal information Nx Systems collects when you buy from us or send an enquiry, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it.

Nx Systems is a division of 24/7 Security Limited, a New Zealand company based in the Bay of Plenty. We hold a Ministry of Justice security licence (PSPLA 22-094805) and are a member of the New Zealand Security Association.

What we collect

When you buy from us or send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and the details of your order or question. If you create an account we also store your login details.

We never see or store your card details. Card payments are processed by Stripe, who handle the card data directly. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, and the last four digits for reference.

Why we collect it

  • To process and deliver your order
  • To provide support on systems we have supplied
  • To answer enquiries and prepare quotes
  • To meet our tax and business record-keeping obligations

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, with:

  • Stripe — to take payment
  • Couriers and freight providers — to deliver your order
  • Local installers — where you have asked us to arrange installation, and only with your knowledge

We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing purposes.

Cookies

This site uses cookies to keep your shopping cart working, remember you if you log in, and understand which pages are visited. You can block cookies in your browser, though the cart and checkout will not work properly without them.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for seven years, as required by New Zealand tax law. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email info@nxsystems.nz and we will respond within 20 working days.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
